New Logitech QuickCam software release without echo cancellation

Logitech released recently a new Logitech QuickCam software which is supposed to fix a lot of issues with auto focus for HQ cameras of logitech, Skype issues, etc.

One thing that annoys me always - I guess you know it as a reader of my blog - is removed features that were useful. Logitech did this here by removing echo cancellation because they say it's no longer needed. as "most instant messanger" have already have echo cancellation.

Well, what if you use some software that relied on this feature? Well, then you are doomed....

I have a logitech webcam and now cannot use it to record videos. After 30 seconds, echo starts up and ruins the recording. The webcam is now more plastic junk to add to landfills. I hate Logitech!

@Anonymous: For which application do you use it and for which devices?

Echo usually only comes up if the mic is too close to a speaker!

Exend the space between the too and it should work for you.
