Samba and Windows Vista

I have bought a NAS from a friend second hand. And if you got the same problem like me trying to access your Samba NAS in Windows Vista, then you can find the fix for this on this blog here.

If you are forced or want to fiddle with the registry instead, then read the comment made by Tim:
"Tim - 31/01/07

If you're running a version of Vista that cannot use secpol.msc, you can edit the registry instead. Just change the value of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\LMCompatibilityLevel from a 3 to a 1"

This should help a lot of people!
