Trackbacks And Their Failures!

Slowly I begin to wonder, wether the trackback systems of some blog systems are really of any worth. Infact I have done 2 tries to ping one, and both times, I got an access denied error.
Means it only works among the same blogger/trackback system.
Now, _that sucks_!

I realize that my previous post is more suited to go here. Anyway, just to add - the trackback thing is designed as such that WordPress can trackback MT users, MT users can trackback .Text users and so on. At least that is what it supposed to do. I successfully (my only success) tracked back a .Text user which is running on a Windows machine, IIS and ASP.NET. A couple of MT users successfully trackbacked to me.

I think it is sort of a standard that the trackback systems abide to and it should work. At least that is what those people say.

@Mr. Dew:
Unfortunately I can only delete comments, not modify them. But people with more than 1 brain cell will understand what you were supposed to say ;)
